Why Did I Start Building Websites?
My website designing origin story.
BUSINESS WEBSITES

When I first started building websites, it wasn’t because I dreamed of becoming a web designer.
It was because I had ideas.
A lot of them.
Businesses, projects, creative experiments, educational platforms — the kind of ideas that need a place to live online.
And every time I had one of those ideas, I realized something quickly:
If I wanted it to exist, I was going to have to build it myself.
So that’s exactly what I did.
Starting With Curiosity (And Zero Experience)
Like many entrepreneurs, I started where most people start — searching Google and watching tutorials.
I experimented with website builders, played with layouts, and tested different platforms to see what worked.
At first it was messy.
Pages didn’t always line up the way I imagined.
Navigation wasn’t always smooth.
And sometimes I had to redo things more than once.
But every website taught me something new.
Building Websites for My Own Projects
Instead of learning in theory, I learned by building real projects.
Websites for my ideas.
Websites for my businesses.
Websites for the brands I wanted to bring to life.
Each site forced me to figure out things like:
• how to organize information so visitors don’t get lost
• how to guide people toward booking or buying
• how to make a website feel simple instead of overwhelming
Over time, the process became less about “just building pages” and more about building experiences that make sense for the people using them.
What I Learned About Websites That Actually Work
After building multiple sites and studying what makes some websites effective while others fall flat, a few things became very clear.
The best websites aren’t necessarily the flashiest ones.
They’re the ones that are clear, intentional, and easy to navigate.
A strong website usually includes:
• a clear message about what the business offers
• simple navigation that helps visitors find what they need quickly
• calls-to-action that guide people toward the next step
• content that builds trust
When those pieces are in place, a website becomes more than a digital placeholder.
It becomes a tool that actually supports the business behind it.
Why I Started Helping Other Entrepreneurs
Once I realized how powerful a well-structured website could be, I also noticed how many entrepreneurs were struggling with theirs.
Some people had amazing businesses but no website at all.
Others had websites that looked good but didn’t clearly explain what they offered.
And many were simply overwhelmed by the process.
That’s when I started helping other entrepreneurs bring their websites to life in a way that feels strategic, organized, and aligned with their goals.
The Truth About Building a Website
A website doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective.
In fact, many successful small business websites are simple.
What matters most is clarity.
Clarity about who you serve.
Clarity about what you offer.
And clarity about what visitors should do next.
When those things are clear, your website becomes one of the most powerful tools your business can have.
